While running the 8-bit version of AnimateLCM-SVD locally, I've discovered that the TCD sampler actually works much more effectively with it than the LCM. The inference speed is about the same as for LCM, but the i2v generation quality is much cleaner and more consistent, with fewer motion artifacts, even surpassing the non-modified model in some instances.
