MAKE A USEFUL GUIDE

The guide is a bunch of confused commands throwing 20000 errors.
Make a damn guide to run this on windows 10 without problems.
I had an hell of a frustrating time getting all working on win 10 and I don't even know how to send a prompt.

Make a guide NOW

How do people find this despicable behavior appropriate after being given something amazing for free? I swear, Emad does the impossible and restores some of my faith in humanity, and then immediately I see entitled, demanding people like this and feel like a fool for having any faith in us at all.

Yeah, this is embarrassing for all humanity

Seriously, what is up with these posts??? If you're not a dev and do not have the patience to work your way through any errors you encounter, then please just stick with DreamStudio.

So releasing software with inadequate documentation is a good practice to encourage? You're the disgrace

Yeah, this is embarrassing for all humanity

You are for agreeing with dumb ideas and you should be restricted from using this and any software

Aaaand he's back lol. Pretty pathetic.

ROFL. I AM A DEVELOPER and I can recommend good code of conduct for releasing software. I manage projects and I work on projects.
I managed to overcome every error (and there were MANY of them) and I had to google around to guess things that were otherwise not trackable and resolvable just by guessing.
I had to find posts by some poor devil who had weird python errors and solved them and jurily rig them togheter into this mess of code and configurations to make some kind of crooked arrangement and make it work.

This is not professional.
I managed to make it work, both the original version and the diffuser version and I'm currently using them.
I also used Dreamstudio.
Just to let you know that I can overcome any obstacle, but I find stupid needing to do it myself when the software creator should provide an easy setup for his software instead of releasing pages with unclear spaghetti code and let other guess solutions.

Learn to clean code, you all and to do a clean job.

There are plenty of google colabs available online. All of them have installation instructions. All of them have runtime examples. It's common sense that if you want set something up locally, especially on a notoriously difficult OS for development like Windows, that you're going to need to work through some things. If you see that the guides are lacking for YOUR PARTICULAR use case, then you should create the docs yourselves and POLITELY submit a pull request. That is the essence of open source development, something you are clearly not aware of.

ERROR: Faith in humanity has now reached a negative value.

ROFL Notorious what? Linux is a difficult and notoriously troublesome OS. Not windows.

And all because of you

You've gotta be trolling...this thread should be closed.

You've gotta be trolling...this thread should be closed.

Sure, that's why there are people complaining after my post of "not finding the download because it's hard" and not being able to run the program because of crappy docs.

You assume everyone complaining it's a troll?

lol.

Quote from an ancient wise man.

Hey everyone!

Stable Diffusion just came out and there is work being put in improving the documentation, usage and tools. The Hugging Face team wrote a blog post at https://huggingface.co/blog/stable_diffusion but there are also no-code tools such as https://huggingface.co/spaces/stabilityai/stable-diffusion and https://beta.dreamstudio.ai/home to try it out, with more to come in the incoming days. There are also Google Colabs available to help you. If you have any concrete suggestions on the docs to clarify the process, we would be happy to listen to them (or you can even open a PR if you want to contribute directly!).

We ask everyone to treat this as a safe space though. Please be helpful and kind to others. Being rude to others is not how this community collaborates and will not help move things forward. I'm closing this thread, if someone wants to contribute or has precise questions/suggestions please raise them.

Please respect each other. We're all in this together πŸ€—

filtered by lack of documentation,kek

I think the developers should avoid writing documentation just to keep people like this out. It's like an intelligence and personality test.

no background in computer science. got it working in about an hour with the help of google. fairly straightforward tbh.

Also your answer is representative of your IQ

Wow, you followed some video/guide as a monkey and it worked for you but could crash on other 1000 different computers. Nice to hear that. That surely makes your case a success for everyone

m8 I heard about this first time and literally first search in YouTube get me to some guy named automatic1111 .. you must be in cognitive dissonance, 1000 random computers are really 99% the same.

Are you some kind of clown?
